DainikPe is an Android application (package: com.dainik1.dainikpe) developed by Dainik1, India. It is a UPI payment announcement tool for small and medium merchants. When a customer pays you via any UPI app — GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, or a bank app — DainikPe reads the payment notification and announces the amount aloud through your phone's speaker or a connected Bluetooth soundbox.
The app also provides transaction history, daily/weekly/monthly business reports, a counter assistant mode for staff devices, a QR code generator, a TV display feature, and an AI voice assistant for business queries.
By downloading or using DainikPe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and do not use the service.
DainikPe is intended for use by:
You must have a valid Indian mobile number to register. The app is not available for personal use — it is a business tool. Using it to monitor payments you are not authorized to receive is a violation of these Terms.
DainikPe uses OTP-based login — there are no passwords. When you register, we send a one-time password to your mobile number. You verify it, and your account is created.
You are responsible for keeping your phone secure. If someone else gains access to your phone and your DainikPe account, that is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at enterprisesnaisan@gmail.com and we will help you secure your account.
One mobile number can have one merchant account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials or promotions is not allowed.
The core feature of DainikPe requires the Notification Listener permission — a special Android permission that lets the app read notifications from other apps. We use this exclusively to detect UPI payment notifications from banking and payment apps.
What we read: Payment notifications from GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay, HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, and other recognized payment apps.
What we never read: WhatsApp messages, SMS from contacts, emails, social media notifications, or any notification from a non-payment app.
The notification text is parsed on your device. Only the extracted payment data (amount, payer name if available, UTR reference) is sent to our servers. The raw notification text is never uploaded. You can revoke this permission at any time from Android Settings → Notification Access, but doing so will stop payment detection.
DainikPe runs a foreground service that keeps the notification listener active even when the app is not open. This is necessary for the app to work — if the service is stopped, you will miss payment announcements.
The app also starts automatically when your phone boots (via RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permission) so you do not have to manually open it after a restart. You can disable this from Android Settings if you prefer, but the app will not announce payments until you open it manually.
We request battery optimization exemption so Android does not kill the service. On phones with aggressive battery management (Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Samsung with strict battery saver), you may need to manually allow DainikPe to run in the background for reliable payment detection.
The Counter Assistant feature lets you share payment announcements with a staff member's phone. Here is how it works:
You are responsible for who you share pairing codes with. Do not share codes with people you do not trust.
DainikPe can display payment amounts on a TV in your shop. The TV connects to a session URL generated by the app. The TV display shows only the payment amount and a confirmation message — no personal account data, transaction history, or merchant details are shown. The session expires when you end it from the app.
DainikPe offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans unlock features like advanced reports, multi-device support, and priority support. All payments are processed via Razorpay.
No refunds for unused days. Once a plan is activated, we do not refund the remaining days if you switch plans, stop using the app, or cancel. See our Refund Policy for the specific cases where refunds are issued (e.g., double charge, payment deducted but plan not activated).
Using DainikPe for any of the following is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination:
DainikPe detects payments by parsing notification text from banking and payment apps. The accuracy of detection depends on the notification format used by those apps. Banks and payment apps sometimes change their notification formats without notice, which can temporarily affect detection.
We maintain a parser rules system that we update regularly to handle new notification formats. However, we cannot guarantee 100% detection accuracy at all times. We are not liable for missed payment announcements caused by changes in third-party notification formats.
If you notice a payment app is not being detected, please report it to enterprisesnaisan@gmail.com with the notification text and we will add support for it.
The DainikPe app, its code, design, logo, and all content are owned by Dainik1. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without written permission. The name "DainikPe" and the DainikPe logo are trademarks of Dainik1.
DainikPe is a notification-reading tool. We are not a payment processor, bank, or financial institution. We do not handle your money — we only announce payments that have already been processed by UPI.
We are not liable for: missed payment announcements due to phone settings, battery optimization, or third-party app changes; business losses caused by app downtime; or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our maximum liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription plan.
You can delete your account at any time from business.dainik1.com/delete-my-data. All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription days.
We may update these Terms when we add new features or when required by law. We will notify you through the app before significant changes take effect. Continuing to use DainikPe after the effective date of a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of DainikPe shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first at enterprisesnaisan@gmail.com — most issues can be resolved without legal proceedings.
